Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools provides an online application process for students interested in applying for the 2022-2023 school year. The process is computer-friendly and the link to the instructions and application is easily accessible on this webpage. All students seeking admissions to PCTVS must apply through the online application process.
The application for the 2022-2023 School Year
closed on December 31, 2021.
The online application for the 2022-2023 school year opened at 6:00am on October 15, 2021. The application deadline was December 31, 2021, at midnight.
All applicants must be Passaic County residents and entering the 9th or 10th grade at the time of application. Criteria for admission is based on the evaluation of school transcripts from the previous two school years. Areas of evaluation are final academic averages, attendance, discipline, and standardized test scores.
For the following programs, students selected for consideration will be required to audition prior to acceptance. Applicants are encouraged to view the audition criteria:
- School of Communication Arts – Advertising Arts and Design
- School of Performing Arts – Dance
- School of Performing Arts – Instrumental
- School of Performing Arts – Theater
- School of Performing Arts – Vocal Technique
Auditions will be held in January and February. Applicants selected for an audition or an interview will be contacted for an appointment.
