Honored PCTVS Veteran Staff
Passaic County Technical Vocational Schools celebrated the spirit of gratitude and respect on Veteran's Day with its annual Veteran's Day Assembly. This year's event held special significance as it paid tribute not only to the brave men and women who have served our nation but also to our very own "PCTVS Veterans" – dedicated members of the PCTVS faculty and staff who have selflessly served or are currently serving in the United States military.
The assembly, which took place on Wednesday, November 8 was a moving and heartfelt occasion, attended by a diverse audience that included students, faculty, staff, and the local community. Alongside our PCTVS veterans, we were honored to welcome 80 distinguished U.S. military veterans who joined us in this special commemoration.
Veteran receives honor
PCTVS Patriotic Consultant, Cathy Pagano played a pivotal role in making this event truly remarkable. Under her guidance, the assembly paid homage to the sacrifices and dedication of our veterans. The program featured inspiring speeches, heartfelt testimonials, and musical performances that resonated with the theme of unity, honor, and gratitude. It served as a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing and appreciating the contributions of our servicemen and servicewomen.
PCTVS takes great pride in its commitment to fostering an environment of inclusivity and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans. This annual assembly not only serves as an opportunity for our students to learn about the significance of Veteran's Day but also as a platform to express our deepest gratitude to those who have safeguarded our freedoms.
Chief School Administrator John Maiello expressed his gratitude stating, "Our annual Veteran's Day Assembly is a testament to the strong sense of community we have at PCTVS. We are immensely proud of our PCTVS veterans and grateful to the additional U.S. military veterans who joined us today."
