PCTI is thrilled to announce the successful culmination of its second annual Portfolio Day! This remarkable event served as a platform for our talented juniors and seniors participating in the Communications Arts CTE program to showcase their outstanding work. With great enthusiasm, invitations were extended to esteemed art colleges, organizations, and potential employers to evaluate and appreciate the remarkable talents on display.
The essence of Portfolio Day was a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring a diverse range of artistic expressions, including captivating films, awe-inspiring artwork, and innovative graphic designs. Our students poured their hearts and souls into their portfolios, and it was truly a sight to behold.
We were honored to welcome representatives and experts from renowned institutions such as the Delaware College of Art and Design, Berkeley College, The College of New Jersey, Rutgers Mason Gross School of Arts, Caldwell University, William Paterson University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Rhode Island School of Design, and the University of Arts. Their presence and participation added immense value to the event.
In addition to the esteemed colleges, Portfolio Day saw the active involvement of influential organizations and businesses, including the dynamic Ink Gallery Studios, the innovative Clear Channel House, and the prestigious Garden State Film Festival. Their engagement served as a testament to the real-world relevance of the work our students produce.
As we reflect on the success of Portfolio Day, we are excited about the possibilities it has opened up for our students. The enthusiasm, dedication, and exceptional talent displayed during this event have set the stage for even more remarkable opportunities in the future. We look forward to continuing our mission of nurturing and promoting the next generation of creative leaders and innovators.
