Throughout the week of February 10th, students from the Academy of Finance, School of Business, Child Development program, and Academy of Criminal Justice presented daily to share insightful presentations demonstrating valuable CTE skills. Faculty, staff, students and guests attended these sessions to learn about an array of topics.
Academy of Finance students presented on important topics like federal and private loans and quizzed visitors with comprehension questions. Juniors from PCTI’s School of Business teamed up to present on subjects including time management, business etiquette and employment laws while honing their public speaking skills and professionalism. Representatives from the Bank of America were in attendance to support students as well.
Additionally, juniors in PCTI’s School of Education & Human Services’ Child Development program shared insight into their courses and potential career paths. The students then held various interactive sensory stations for the guests to participate in, including sand art designs and beading activities.
Students from PCTI’s Academy of Criminal Justice presented immersive activities focusing on topics like fingerprinting and crime scene investigation. Visitors collected “evidence” as they attended each station and participated in the interactive activities.

Students presented on a wide variety of topics during National CTE Month
