The Championship competition was held at the Passaic County Courthouse, and the Bulldogs went undefeated throughout the weeklong competition. The event concluded as they faced off against Hawthorne Christian High School in front of Superior Court Judge Yoblansky and Covello. As a result of their hard work, the team won first place in the championship and received praise from all judges for their preparation, critical thinking skills and courtroom presence. The team will now prepare to compete in New Brunswick at the North Regional State Finals in February!
“I am incredibly proud of the Mock Trial team for achieving this tremendous victory,” said Robert Nutile, Advisor of the PCTI Mock Trial Team. “The students demonstrated outstanding professionalism, knowledge and determination at the competition, which were essential in securing the Championship.”
