PCTI Dancer Receives Statewide Award

Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) junior, Brianna Izquierdo of the School of Performing Arts, is being recognized for her artistry in dance with the Statewide Artistic Merit and Leadership Award! Receiving this recognition was made possible by her induction into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, as well as her affiliation with the National Dance Education Organization.

Brianna was judged based on the strength of technical and artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement, which includes an assessment of a self-choreographed solo video, answering essay questions, GPA and transcript evaluation, and submitting a recommendation letter and resume. She is just one of sixteen students to receive this award in New Jersey and is now eligible to advance to the national level.
