During February, Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI)
will be joining countless organizations in celebrating National Career and Technical Education Month. The
nationwide event raises awareness about the role that Career and Technical Education (CTE) has in readying
students for both careers and college. It’s also a time to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of
CTE community members throughout the United States.
PCTI takes great pride in honoring those who have contributed to ensuring the successful futures of their
students. During the second full week of February, representatives of the high school’s SkillsUSA chapter will
visit local businesses and county agencies to personally thank them for all their service. Students will also
distribute gifts that showcase their talents and gratitude for the opportunities provided by career and technical
education.
As the largest career and technical school in New Jersey, PCTI prepares students for successful careers by
providing them with an innovative and immersive educational experience that highlights the importance of
advanced academics and career and technical education.
