Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) made headlines when they were recognized by U.S. News & World Report. The career and technical high school, located in Wayne, New Jersey has earned a bronze ranking as one of the Nation’s Best Public High Schools. PCTI was the only school in Passaic County to receive this outstanding distinction.
Award decisions are based upon analysis at the state level, taking into account how well students performed on state assessments. Schools were then judged nationally in terms of college readiness. This includes curricula involving college-level work and student success rate in Advance Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) programs.
