Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) Culinary Arts students have been declared ProStart State Champions and earned the distinct opportunity to travel to Providence Rhode Island for the 17th Annual National ProStart Invitational. Teammates Theo Chambliss, Melany Estrada, Aden Lewin, Mya Organisciak, and Maricela Pina will represent the state of New Jersey as they put their skills to the test by preparing gourmet food in a time-crunch setting with menu items that have been meticulously perfected over the last few months. The high school’s first place winning streak has been going strong for the past twelve years.
In addition to this outstanding win, PCTI’s Management team brought home the silver award at the ProStart State Competition.
