Wayne, NJ – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) Culinary Arts students have been declared ProStart State Champions, earning them the opportunity to travel to Charleston, South Carolina to represent New Jersey at the 16th Annual National ProStart Invitational! Team members Lucia Alarcon, Casey Creazzo, Melany Estrada, Shyla Hernandez, and Maricela Pina will have a limited amount of time to prepare gourmet menu items that they spent countless hours and months perfecting. The high school’s first place winning streak has been going strong for the past eleven years.
In addition to this outstanding win, PCTI’s Management and additonal Culinary team both brought home the silver award at the ProStart State Competition.
