Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) held its annual Senior Awards Night that saw members of the Class of 2017 receive generous scholarships for their academic futures. The anticipated evening highlighted student excellence and achievement with scholarships presented by numerous business, educational, community, and military sponsors.
This year, PCTI’s Education Foundation awarded over $56,000 in scholarships to sixty-four students! As has been tradition for the past few years, seniors were excited when the foundation selected twelve students at random to receive brand new Apple iPads to assist with their future studies. In addition, Sarah Shannon was recognized with an iPad for being the first female in school history to receive the PCCA Female County Athlete of the Year award – bringing the new number of distributed iPads up to a lucky thirteen.
One hundred and fifty-two seniors of Passaic County Technical Institute were honored at this year’s Senior Awards Night. Congratulations to PCTI’s Class of 2017 Senior Awards recipients! A special thanks to those who made the event a success!
