The Unit
Passaic County Technical Institute's Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) is a four-year leadership and character development program with a curriculum that consists of four areas of study: leadership, academics, military skills, and physical fitness.
Leadership studies emphasize individual character development through increased self-discipline, dependability, and teamwork. Academics cover the naval sciences and teaches how the U.S. Navy impacts both our nation’s history and security. Military skills training builds teamwork and an understanding of military customs with the help of extracurricular activities. Physical fitness is also tested daily through training conducted by NJROTC Instructors.
