Brianna Fasoli
Brianna Fasoli is a four-year varsity student who during the winter season, as senior on the Girls’ winter track team, has led the Lady Bulldogs sprint-squads with some amazing marks helping the team to secure both a BNC Liberty Divisional and PCCA County Championship. Brianna competes for the Lady Bulldogs Winter Track team in four events -55-meter dash, 55-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and as the third leg in the Lady Bulldog’s 4x400 meter relay. With her efforts in the PCCA County Championship Meet on January 24, 2022, at Ocean Breeze, Brianna earned a gold medal (first place finish) in all four of those events. The accomplishment was so noteworthy that Brianna was awarded the Record’s NorthJersey.com Athlete of the Week for the first week in February, joining a short list of outstanding athletes from PCTVS to have their representation created by artist Charles McGill. With the winter season heating up for post-season action and the spring track season on the horizon, Brianna will be sure to continue to improve on her times and gold medal counts, all while adding to the Lady Bulldog’s Track Championship lists. Brianna, a resident of Totowa, is a student-athlete at PCTI’s Academy of Criminal Justice where she currently holds a 3.5 GPA. Currently, Brianna is weighing her options with continuing her academic and athletic career for both soccer and track at schools like FDU, the University of Tampa, and Florida Southern. The Athletic department would like to wish Brianna and the entire Lady Bulldogs Track team all the best in the remainder of the Winter 2021-2022 and Spring 2022 Track seasons.
Laith Hamdeh
Laith Hamdeh is a four-year varsity letter winner and a senior team captain who has helped to lead the PCTVS Bulldog Wrestling Team to another historic wrestling season. Laith was the core of the squads’ middle weight classes, presenting a daunting line-up along with his teammates of dominating wrestlers from 113 through 175-pound weight classes. This is where most teams fell victim to the Bulldogs in match play, continuing with the phrase established in previous Championship seasons with “Murder’s row” on their way to an impressive season record, capturing another BNC Liberty Divisional Championship and a PCCA County Championship (second consecutive). Laith’s leadership, weight-class flexibility and relentless approach on the mat was also the backbone to the team’s State Sectional title run which ended with a heartbreaking loss to the Lancers of Livingston. His personal marks as we approach the individual portion of the season include the following:
- Four –year varsity letter winner and team captain
- Overall, 2021-2022 Season record of 29-0
- Career Record of 111-18
- 2x NJSIAA State Qualifier
- 3x PCCA County Champions
- 3x District Champ (it will be after this weekend)
- 2021 Medal Winner in the NJSIAA Individual Tournament
- Member of the PCTVS Bulldog Century Club (100 Wins)
