Aaron Falette is the kind of student who is determined to press forth until success is reached. He is a go-getter inspired by the possibility of growth and personal betterment. This Paterson local is set on becoming the best possible version of himself.

He found his home in the school of Automotive Technology, with a focus on Automotive Repair. This choice of study dates back to a time when Aaron was just eight years old. Having multiple uncles in the repair shop business, Aaron was exposed at a very young age to what would become his dream career.

“There’s satisfaction in putting something together with your own hands and fixing things,” Aaron said. He went on to explain a side project that both he and a fellow automotive classmate are working on. The two are currently building an engine for their very own car. Once done, they will put it in a shell and track it to see just how fast it goes. Then comes finding all the right parts and putting them together. “The experience is going to be very rewarding,” he added.

Aside from Aaron’s talent in his career area, he is also academically inclined. This Bulldog ranks in the top 10% of his class with a GPA of 3.78! He has developed quite the passion for learning, both in and out of the classroom.

Aaron has a penchant for athleticism as evidenced by his involvement in volleyball and wrestling at PCTI. Additionally, he is part of a cultural dance troupe that performs at shows, festivals, weddings, and sweet sixteen celebrations. Aaron specializes in bachata, merengue, and salsa. When not performing or attending school, Aaron can be found working at his Co-Op position at Lincoln of Wayne and volunteering at his church, St. Anne’s of Fairlawn. He is also a proud member of Teen PEP and ERASE.

 After graduating from PCTI, Aaron will enroll in Lincoln Technical Institute and work toward becoming a Diesel Technician with knowledge in Transport Refrigeration. From there, he will enter the Automotive industry and will eventually open his own business which specializes in auto body and repair.

Until then, Aaron reflects on his time in high school, citing numerous lessons learned. The advice he has for his peers is touching.“Follow your heart and pick what’s right for you. Expand your horizons and take initiative in helping others. Work hard for success.”
