Szymon Sudol
Szymon Sudol is an exceptional student in the PCTI School of Communication Arts, focusing on Audio Visual Production. While his initial dream was to become a renowned director, Szymon’s interests evolved over time. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “As a freshman, I had this dream of being this big-time director. Over time I realized that mathematics intrigues me more, so I’m leaning toward finance now. But video production is still a fascinating program.”
Being named Student of the Month came as an unexpected honor for Szymon. He remarked, “It’s a surprise, but I appreciate it. It’s cool to have my name out there.” His academic success is reflected in his impressive 4.0 GPA.
In addition to his academic achievements, Szymon actively participates in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and is a skilled varsity fencer, currently ranked number nine in New Jersey in the Men’s Epee category.
Outside of school, Szymon has a range of interests and responsibilities. He enjoys cooking and baking, often experimenting with bread recipes and Asian cuisine. Additionally, he helps manage his mother’s art studio business, Rustic Square Art Studio in Clifton, where he handles financial tasks and event preparations.
Looking ahead, Szymon plans to pursue a career in finance, with aspirations of becoming a financial manager in New York or somewhere on the East Coast. He also hopes to continue fencing at a collegiate or competitive level.
When offering advice to his classmates and incoming freshmen, Szymon emphasized the importance of balance and mindfulness: “Life isn’t as difficult as some people make it out to be. Sometimes stepping outside, taking a breath, listening to music, and just relaxing can make all the difference.”
Reflecting on his time at PCTI, Szymon highlighted the supportive nature of the school community. “There’s so much to offer here. I feel like I can always rely on something or someone if I need help, and that’s been incredibly valuable as a student.”

Gabriella Ramirez
Gabriella Ramirez is an exceptional student in the PCTI Academy of Criminal Justice. Her aspiration to become an attorney has been a driving force in her life since middle school. Explaining her passion for law, Gabriella shared, “Being an attorney has been my dream career since middle school. Law is my passion, and I always believed I could reach hundreds of people facing injustice.”
Being named Student of the Month is a recognition that still surprises Gabriella. Reflecting on the honor, she stated, “It’s still a shock to me. I’m very grateful to God that my efforts have been recognized, and I’m very happy about that.” Gabriella’s outstanding academic achievements are reflected in her remarkable GPA of 4.2.
Beyond academics, Gabriella is deeply involved in various clubs and activities at PCTI. She is a leader in the Christian Student Association, a club she holds closest to her heart, and has recently worked on a special Bible fundraiser for the first time. Her extracurricular pursuits include participating in Upstanders, competing in the Mock Trial competition for two years, and serving in ROTC as a Lieutenant (O-3) and 1st Battalion Executive Officer. Gabriella is also a member of the Rho Kappa Honor Society, Student Council Interact, Gifted and Talented, Book Club, National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, and History Club. Additionally, she serves as a student ambassador, providing tours to incoming freshmen and middle school students.
Gabriella’s after-school activities reflect her dedication and multifaceted interests. She works at a law office in Paterson as part of her co-op program, where she has gained valuable experience in criminal, civil, family, and immigration matters. She also serves as a worship leader at her church, singing as part of the worship team. Her volunteer efforts include contributing to the Military Assistance Pantry at the Great Falls Rotary Foundation in Paterson since the seventh grade, preparing food and necessity bags for veterans. Occasionally, she volunteers at Calvary Temple International in Wayne.
In her leisure time, Gabriella enjoys reading, with "Pride and Prejudice" being her favorite book. She also collects and preserves flowers, enjoys nature walks, and writes poetry when inspired.
Looking ahead, Gabriella plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in English, attend law school, and explore opportunities to teach law or become a judge someday.
When offering advice to incoming freshmen, Gabriella thoughtfully said, “Never allow anyone to steal life from the dreams inside your heart. They are yours; nurture them until they blossom.”
Reflecting on her time at PCTI, Gabriella expressed gratitude for how the experience has shaped her. “It has definitely solidified my passion as well as my personal values. In a school with such diversity, I’ve learned to appreciate so many different cultures.”

Elizabeth Fishman
Elizabeth Fishman is an exemplary student in the PCTI STEM Academy, studying Biomedical and Life Science. Her fascination with biology began in elementary school, evolving over the years into a passion for medical biology and tissue engineering. Explaining her journey, Elizabeth shared, “I was always interested in biology starting from elementary school, but over time, my focus shifted from biology and zoology to medical biology. My interest in tissue engineering stems from personal experience with my grandfather, who is an amputee, and learning about prosthetics. When I discovered PCTI STEM, I knew it was the perfect place to start pursuing my passion.”
Being named Student of the Month is a moment of pride and gratitude for Elizabeth. Reflecting on this achievement, she said, “I was happy and really surprised. I’m truly grateful to have been selected because I feel it perfectly showcases my dedication, and I’m thankful it’s been recognized.” Her academic excellence is evident in her remarkable 4.4 GPA.
Elizabeth is an active member of several clubs and organizations, including HOSA, Student Council Interact, Crochet Club, National Honor Society, and the Gifted and Talented Program. She is also a four-year member of the girls’ swimming team, showcasing her versatility and commitment both academically and athletically.
After school, Elizabeth dedicates herself to research and creative endeavors. She participates in research competitions and internships, even when outcomes are uncertain, viewing them as opportunities for personal growth. “I love research and am passionate about it, so I take part in competitions and internships. Even when they don’t always succeed, they help me grow,” she explained. Outside academics, she enjoys creative activities such as baking new recipes, experimenting with crochet stitches, and hiking on weekends to connect with nature and destress.
Looking forward, Elizabeth plans to major in biomedical engineering with a focus on tissue engineering. Her ultimate goal is to establish a biotech startup, combining her love for biology with her entrepreneurial spirit. “Apart from being passionate about biology, I am very interested in entrepreneurship and business. College will provide me the foundation to start working on this dream,” she shared.
Elizabeth’s advice to incoming freshmen and peers is both heartfelt and inspiring: “Stay true to yourself, try your best, and remain kind to everyone you meet. Take advantage of the resources available to you and be thankful for what you have.”
Reflecting on her time at PCTI STEM, Elizabeth highlighted the profound impact it has had on her personal and academic growth. “The people I’ve met and the classes I’ve taken have truly shaped me. I’ve built lifelong friendships, grown as a person, and learned the value of hard work and dedication. The faculty has supported me in becoming a better student and a future biomedical engineer.”
