Congratulations to Tyler Roer, December Athlete of the Month!
Tyler is a senior and a member of the PCTI STEM Academy Engineering Program. As a standout swimmer, he also ran varsity cross country for four years. Outside of school, Tyler devotes much of his time to club practice with the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA swim team. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and watching movies.
When asked about his season, Tyler shared, “I would love to get a fourth championship ring, and if that can’t happen, I look forward to leading the team into another great season where we win county’s and get all those accolades up. Just giving my knowledge of swimming to the younger swimmers and helping the team get better for years to come.”
After graduation, Tyler will be swimming Division 1 at Marist College, where he plans to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine while earning a degree in Business Administration. His ultimate goal is to open and manage his own veterinary clinic, combining his passion for helping animals with his knowledge of business.
Congratulations, Tyler!
