Tri-M Music Honor Society

The name Tri-M was derived from the original name of our honor society, Modern Music Masters. The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for high school students. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership.

The goal of the Tri-M Music Honor Society is to foster greater interest in band, and/or choral performance and to provide more opportunities for personal musical expression. The organization’s high standards serve to challenge students to greater effort and achievement and to encourage them in the pursuit of excellence. Also, opening up the endless opportunities of majors in music.
