Our Biotech Summer Academy provides students in Grade 7 through Grade 8 with the opportunity to further develop their interests in science as it pertains to healing, feeding, and sustaining the world we live in, including the essential supply chain and logistics utilized to distribute these cutting-edge products. This program provides innovative, interactive activities and instruction.
This program provides students with project-based activities that reinforce discovery, critical thinking, and collaboration. Your child will learn teamwork and problem-solving skills that will increase their awareness and self-confidence!
Classes will run for a total of 1 week (5 consecutive days) from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
The dates are: Monday,July 24th through Friday, July 28th.

Course Descriptions
- Biotech/Life Science – Empowers students to build fundamental knowledge and technical skills in biotechnology, as well as in-demand skills like problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, and collaboration. Current conditions in the related fields of animal, human and plant science will be addressed in project-based activities.
All students participate in group problem solving challenges. Collaboration, creativity, innovation, and inventiveness will be an integral part of the experience as students share ideas and learn from their instructors and each other.
