Talented Student from PCTI Receives NJGAAE Award for Artistic Excellence and Leadership in Dance!

Brianna Izquierdo, a talented senior in the dance program at Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) School of Performing Arts, has been selected as a recipient of the New Jersey Governor’s Awards in Arts Education (NJGAAE) Student Award for Artistic Excellence and Leadership in Dance! In recognition of her outstanding talent in dance, Brianna has been invited to attend the NJGAAE Ceremony at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton, NJ.

The Governor’s Awards in Arts Education presents awards to approximately 20 educators and 80 students from across the state who demonstrate excellence in creative writing, speech, dance, music, theatre and visual arts. Award winners are celebrated for their dedication to their craft as well as their creativity, talent and leadership skills.
