Three PCTI Students Honored with AP Scholar Awards

Wayne, NJ – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Students of Passaic County Technical Institute were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on their AP exams with the AP Scholar Awards. Aleksey Strekalov and Scott Boorman of Wayne both earned the AP Scholar with Honor– which is reserved for those who receive an average of 3.25 on all AP Exams and scores 3 or higher on four or more on their exams. Christopher Valencia of Clifton received the AP Scholar with Distinction award, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher on five or more of their exams.

The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions that students can cite among their credentials on applications and resumes. Congratulations to all!
