School Counseling

The school counselors at PCTVS are here to serve as advocates for the students and provide the vital link between the school, home, special services, and outside agencies. Through the School Counseling Department, students are provided with assistance and information related to course selections, college and career planning, and personal/social development.

Student Assistance Coordinators (SAC) / Crisis Counselors

If your child or you should be experiencing mental health distress or if you believe harm is imminent, please call 911 or your doctor immediately. Please feel free to contact your child's School Counselor or a SAC/Crisis Counselor with any non-emergency concerns you may have. Safety and Wellbeing Assessment Team (SWAT)

The Safety and Well-Being Assessment Team (SWAT) at PCTVS is a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all members of our school community. Learn more at the Safety and Well-Being Assessment Team webpage here.

PCTVS Student Support Program

PCTVS Student Support Program

The PCTVS School Counseling department is offering personal counseling, academic planning, and college/career planning for the 23-24 school year.

Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays

Times: 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Location: Guidance Department (Across from C-Wing Media)

Teen Center - Supported by NJCDC & NJDCF

The Teen Center offers an array of services for any PCTVS student who wishes to participate. Participation is completely voluntary, and a parental consent form is required prior to accessing services.
