All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Flower pots will be an assortment of geraniums, petunias and impatiens available in two sizes: 5" pot for .00 or a 6.5" pot for .00. Orders can be placed Monday, April 8th - Monday, April 29th by seeing a Student Council member, Mrs. Rettenbert or Ms. Sillman, as well as scanning flyers posted around school or using the following link. Orders will be delivered to PCTVS and picked up in the Auditorium Lobby on Friday, May 10th.
- The School of Performing Arts Class of 2024 will present The Choreography Showcase on Friday, April 26th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Tickets are free but you must reserve your seat here.
- Are you looking for ways to be better listeners and help make our community a more caring place? Well, stop by the upper lobby of PCTI or STEM on Monday, April 15th, the first day of Bulldogs Take Action Week to learn about a program that's all about that! Love 2 Listen is focused on helping others be better listeners and sharing resources available in our school so we can help others dealing with social isolation. Stop by the PCTI Upper Lobby or STEM Lobby to sign our Love2Listen pledge! We’ll also be running two student-led sessions in the Wellness Center at 1:30 PM and 2:15 PM on Monday 4/15, where you can get a better look at how to Love2Listen. A Google Sign-Up Form will be available later this week for interested students! Keep an eye on announcements and the TI@ti Instagram page for more information. Make sure to wear yellow to start off the beginning of Bulldogs Take Action Week.
- Would you like to celebrate and learn about the cultures within our school community? Next week is Bulldogs Take Action Week, and TI@ti, WLHS, and ERASE will be hosting their Multicultural Fair on Thursday, April 18th, from 3:30 pm to 6 pm in the Main Gym of PCTI. It's free to attend and bus transportation will be provided for students. Parents are also invited to attend. Come and see displays, listen to music, play games, try some cultural foods, and more. This event is open to all. Remember to wear red on Thursday during Bulldogs Take Action week. We hope you join us to learn about diverse cultures with your family and friends, here at PCTVS.
- Attention students interested in joining PCTVS's Color Guard. Try outs for next year's squad will be Thursday May 2nd in the STEM gymnasium. Practices to prepare for try outs will be April 15th, 16th, 24th, and May 1st also held in the STEM gymnasium. Reach out to Ms. Baker or Ms. Andriac with any questions.

Quinn Solter and Adam Rhfiri led the team at first doubles, Mathew Ulloa and Jeremy Sanchez at second doubles with a clean sweep, and Luca Manzella with his partner Anuj Shah at third doubles finishing off the match. Keep up the good work gentlemen!

Addison chipped in 4 kills, and Samih Abbassi added 3 kills. Elliot Rivera led the team with 11 assists and Leo Nizama contributed 7 assists. Jayden Vasquez led the team with 8 service points and 2 aces. Great job Bulldogs! The team's next game will be Wednesday at Eastside.

- In honor of Women's History Month, Rho Kappa would like to share information about Aretha Franklin. On March 25, 1942, Aretha Franklin was born. The American singer, songwriter, and pianist was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She won 18 Grammys, had 112 singles on the Billboard charts, and was named twice as the greatest singer by Rolling Stone. Also referred to as the “Queen of Soul,” with over 75 million records sold worldwide, she remains one of the most-charted female artists in history. Aretha Franklin was an active supporter of civil rights and women’s rights, as she performed at protests and benefits, spoke up, and supported those causes. Leaving off with a quote from Aretha Franklin herself, she said, “Sometimes what you’re looking for is already there.”

- In honor of Women's History Month, Rho Kappa would like to share information about Clara Barton.Clara Barton was born on December 25, 1821, in North Oxford, Massachusetts. At just twelve years old, she took the role of a nurse for her brother David Barton. She went on to teach in public schools and eventually established and taught in Bordentown, New Jersey. The school was named after her, Clara Barton School. She went on to be the first woman to work for the federal government at the U.S. Patent Office. She organized and assisted in nursing and relief services for the Union Army during the Civil War and was known as the “Angel of the Battlefield” for her selfless service. She ended up founding the American Red Cross in 1881 to assist during war times. She led relief efforts, advocated for women’s suffrage, and wrote books that discussed her experiences and promoted humanitarian causes. Her contributions still impact humanitarian aid to this day.

- In honor of Women's History Month, Rho Kappa would like to share information about Aretha Franklin. On March 25, 1942, Aretha Franklin was born. The American singer, songwriter, and pianist was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She won 18 Grammys, had 112 singles on the Billboard charts, and was named twice as the greatest singer by Rolling Stone. Also referred to as the “Queen of Soul,” with over 75 million records sold worldwide, she remains one of the most-charted female artists in history. Aretha Franklin was an active supporter of civil rights and women’s rights, as she performed at protests and benefits, spoke up, and supported those causes. Leaving off with a quote from Aretha Franklin herself, she said, “Sometimes what you’re looking for is already there.”

- In honor of Women's History Month, Rho Kappa would like to share information about Clara Barton.Clara Barton was born on December 25, 1821, in North Oxford, Massachusetts. At just twelve years old, she took the role of a nurse for her brother David Barton. She went on to teach in public schools and eventually established and taught in Bordentown, New Jersey. The school was named after her, Clara Barton School. She went on to be the first woman to work for the federal government at the U.S. Patent Office. She organized and assisted in nursing and relief services for the Union Army during the Civil War and was known as the “Angel of the Battlefield” for her selfless service. She ended up founding the American Red Cross in 1881 to assist during war times. She led relief efforts, advocated for women’s suffrage, and wrote books that discussed her experiences and promoted humanitarian causes. Her contributions still impact humanitarian aid to this day.
