Ella Cifaldi

Ella Cifaldi’s passion for theater led her to choose PCTI’S School of Performing Arts - Theater as her CTE concentration, “I wanted a creative outlet. I was interested in theater and knew the program was the right choice for me.”

Ella is actively involved in school clubs and extracurricular activities. She serves as the recording secretary for National Honor Society, is a member of gifted and talented, Tech Tone choir, and PCTI Thespians. Outside of school, Ella finds fulfillment in exploring her hobbies and interests. She recently picked up crocheting and is passionate about acting, singing, and playing the guitar.

Looking towards her future, Ella is driven to make a positive impact on others' lives. She plans on pursuing psychology and obtaining a doctorate degree, with aspirations of becoming a clinical psychologist

Ella was especially excited to be named Student of the Month, saying, “I feel special. It was something I was really looking forward to. When my counselor, Mrs. Pudup said that she was going to nominate me it really felt like something special. I’m happy it worked out!” With her exceptional 4.37 GPA she is very deserving of the recognition.

Ella was also sure to give freshman in the theater program some words of advice, “don’t be afraid to be loud and let yourself be known. You can’t be shy in the theater program. You have to get over being afraid and be sure to always give your fullest potential!”

Ella, your hard work and determination will get you far! Congratulations!

Nisarg Mehta

Nisarg Mehta is a talented student at PCTI’S Academy of Information Technology. With a passion for gaming, and recognizing technology’s growing importance in today's world, Nisarg wanted to explore the field further.

Nisarg is an active member of many school clubs, including the National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, and FBLA, where he serves as vice president. He is also a member of the astronomy club and the boys' tennis team, showcasing his dedication to academics and his love for sports. Additionally, Nisarg is the treasurer for the class of 2023. In his free time, he volunteers with EMTs at the Totowa first aid squad, enjoys travelling, hanging out with friends, and cooking.

After high school, Nisarg plans to attend Rutgers University to study nursing. He hopes to continue his education and obtain a master's degree in nursing to become a nurse anesthesiologist or nurse practitioner.

With a remarkable GPA of 4.45, Nisarg is a dedicated student who is committed to achieving his goals. When asked about being named Student of the Month, Nisarg said, "I was shocked and couldn't believe I got it. I'm really happy about it!"

Nisarg's advice to his fellow classmates is to be themselves and not give up, "don’t worry about being the funny one in the room, the smartest one in the room, or anything else just be yourself and you’ll stand out. Same with these four years, just don’t give up!"

Nadia Obeidallah

Nadia Obeidallah is an exceptional student with a passion for technology and a love for mathematics. Her father, who is an engineer, and her mother, a math teacher, inspired her to pursue Computer Science in STEM. Her fascination with technology has been a part of her life since she was young, and it has only grown stronger over the years.

Nadia is not just a dedicated student but also an active member of various clubs and organizations at PCTVS. She is a STEM Senior Class representative, student ambassador, Student Council Interact member, a member of World Language Honor Society and National Honor Society as well a member of ERASE. Through ERASE, she had the opportunity to participate in the Asian Pacific Heritage Assembly and showcase her Palestinian culture, “the experience was one of the best memories I’ve had in school, and I’m excited for the opportunity to do it again this year.” In addition to her school activities, Nadia spends her weekends helping at Baraem Al-Iman School, an Islamic Saturday school helping the principal and teachers in the classrooms. She gets to learn more Arabic and about her religion while teaching others, making it a very rewarding experience.

After high school, Nadia plans to pursue a dual degree program for a bachelor's and MS in computer engineering at her father's alma mater, NJIT. She looks forward to taking full advantage of all the opportunities presented to her in college by joining more programs and different projects. Her goal is to become a software developer or hardware engineer.

Nadia's impressive academic record and her dedication to her studies have earned her a GPA of 4.40, a testament to her hard work and commitment. Speaking of her student of the month designation, “I was a bit anxious and taken aback, but after fully processing the news, I felt proud of myself because all my efforts and persistence paid off in the end.” Nadia's persistence shows off her hard work and determination.

When asked if she has any advice for her classmates, Nadia said, “always challenge yourself, it will help you when you have to face and overcome obstacles.”
