May Athletes of the Month

Cicilia Martino

Cicilia Martino is a third-year varsity letter winner who: During the month of May, as senior on the Girls’ spring track team helped lead the Lady Bulldogs throws and jumps teams with some amazing marks earning a league championship and Passaic County Relays title. Ciclia placed in four events at the BNC Liberty Divisional Championship meet earning a First-place finish in the Javelin, a Second-place finish in the shotput and discus and Third-place finish in the Long Jump (an event she just started practicing two weeks ago). Cici is also a team leader for the Girls Flag Football team as a two-year starter from her defensive line position. As a stand-out pass rusher, Cici leads the Girls Flag Football team in most statistical categories including tackles for loss, quarterback hurries and team sacks. As a resident of Little Falls, Cici attends the STEM Academy where she studies Engineering. Cici currently holds a 3.95 GPA and would like to continue her athletic and academic career at NJIT, where she can continue to participate in track & field and look to start a Girls Flag Team with the NJIT-Highlanders.




Joshua Justin

Joshua Justin

Joshua Justin is a second-year varsity letter winner who: During the month of May, as junior on the Boys’ spring track team helped lead the Bulldogs’ jumps teams with some amazing marks earning a league championship and Passaic County Relays title. Joshua placed in three events at the BNC Liberty Divisional Championship meet earning a First-place finish in the High Jump and Triple Jump, a Fifth-place finish in the Long Jump. Joshua excels in the High Jump event where he is literally “raising the bar” having cleared 6’4” in a number of competitions this season he is only “inches away” from re-writing some major Bulldog records. As a resident of Clifton, Joshua attends PCTI’s School of Applied Engineering for Project Lead the Way. As only a junior, we are looking forward to Joshua’s growth in the sport of Track & Field and his pursuit of individual personal bests.
