Julia Foti

Julia Foti

Julia Foti is a two-year varsity starter who as one of the influential underclassmen, has helped to lead the Lady Bulldogs Varsity Lacrosse team through the 2022 season in the NJIGLL (Northern Jersey Interscholastic Girls Lacrosse League) American South Division. The team is currently 4-5 overall and 2-1 in their division (third place) having just recently come off an 8-0 win over the Lady Hornets of Passaic Valley. Julia currently leads the girls’ team in many statistical categories, she currently has 28 goals and 7 assists from her position as an attack. Coach Aboyoun comments that, “Julia is a constant force offensively, rarely taking a substitute for any reason as the team needs her presence on the field; Julia had an outstanding freshmen season where she scored 39 goals/7 assists and is on pace this year as a sophomore to double those totals”. In addition to her accolades on field, Julia also excels in the classroom. As student of the STEM Academy studying Biomedical Life Sciences, Julia has a current year GPA of 3.95 and ranks in the top of her class. We wish to congratulate Julia and wish the entire Lady Bulldogs Lacrosse team best of luck with the 2022 Spring season.




Shawn Hutcheson

Shawn Hutcheson

Shawn Hutcheson is a four-year varsity starter and a 2022 captain who as a senior, has been a tremendous leader for the Bulldogs Varsity Lacrosse team through the 2022 season in the NJILL (Northern Jersey Interscholastic Lacrosse League) Kirst Division. Shawn, as the Bulldogs Goaltender, currently leads the Bulldog’s Defensive unit in many statistical categories, as a dominant net-minder his effective shot-stopping is one of the major reasons that the Bulldogs are currently 6-3 overall and 5-1 within the Kirst Division, putting them in second place (one-game behind Eastern Christian). Shawn has a .600 save percentage and has stopped 65 shots on goal this season, he was spectacular in the Bulldogs 17-0 shut-out victory over East Side/Newark and was outstanding during the teams’ five (5) game winning streak which stretched from April 4th through April 16th. Coach Kurzum comments, “Shawn is hands-down one of the best players on the team, he also does an excellent job teaching and mentoring teammates and always brings a positive-attitude to practice/games”. In addition to his accolades on field, Shawn also excels in the classroom. As member Academy of Criminal Justice, Shawn has a current GPA of 3.65 and ranks in the top half of his graduating class.
