April Athletes of the Month

Jordan Argueyes and Kylee Devries

Congratulations to Jordan Argueyes and Kylee Devries, April’s Athletes of the Month!

Jordan Argueyes is a four-year varsity starter and a 2018 captain who:

As a senior, he has been a tremendous leader for the Bulldogs Varsity Lacrosse team through their second year in the NJILL (Northern Jersey Interscholastic Lacrosse League). Jordan currently leads the Bulldog’s Defensive unit in many statistical categories. As a long-pole defensive man, his play is critical to shutting down an opponent’s attack and limiting scoring chances. Jordan’s defense prowess is one of the major reasons that the Bulldogs are currently 4-4 overall and 3-1 within the Kirst Division of the NJILL. Coach Alter comments, “Jordan is hands-down one of the best defensive players on the team. He also does an excellent job teaching and mentoring players new to the sport.” In addition to his accolades on the field, Jordan excels in the classroom. As member of the School of Communication Arts, Jordan has a current GPA of 3.50 and ranks in the top one-third of his graduating class. We wish to congratulate Jordan and the entire Bulldogs Lacrosse team best of luck with the 2018 spring season!

Kylee Devries is a three-year varsity starter and a 2018 junior captain who:

As an influential underclassman, she helped lead the Lady Bulldogs’ Varsity Lacrosse team through their second year in the NJIGLL (Northern Jersey Interscholastic Girls Lacrosse League). Kylee currently leads the girls’ team in many statistical categories with 8 goals, 9 ground balls, and 29 draw controls from her position as a center. Coach Kiernan comments that, “Kylee is a constant force offensively and defensively, rarely taking a substitute for any reason as the team needs her presence on the field.” In addition to her accolades on the field, Kylee excels in the classroom. She is a member of the Academy of Finance with a GPA of 3.75 and ranks in the top 25% of her graduating class! We wish to congratulate Kylee and the entire Lady Bulldogs Lacrosse team. Best of luck with the 2018 spring season!
