Passaic County School Counselor of the Year 2012

Mariann LoBue has been guiding students toward success for the past twenty-two years. Her passion for people and profession are unparalleled. She is often described as kind-hearted and easy to speak with. It’s no wonder she’s serviced thousands of students and has been declared Passaic County School Counselor of the Year!

The award comes in light of Ms. LoBue’s handling personal crises, career counseling, and family concerns on a daily basis. She is also responsible for PCTI’s Senior Awards ceremony, mentoring graduate students, and parent orientation at the beginning of each school year.

Ms. LoBue also works with the next generation of counselors, training them while they are interns, and assisting in any fashion necessary as a fellow colleague.
Mariann LoBue is the epitome of what it takes to be named Passaic County School Counselor of the Year. Her giving ways, positive attitude, and loving nature draw people close, allowing her the opportunity to touch many lives, both students and co-workers alike!
