The PCTI School of Education and Human Services recently organized a Child Development Alumni Panel where former students shared their experiences of studying Child Development and how PCTI has impacted their lives. This event provided an excellent opportunity for the current students to learn from the success stories of their predecessors. The panelists, all former graduates of PCTI who currently work for PCTVS in different fields were social worker Lorena Hincapie, STEM Math Teacher Stephanie Tapia-Nunez, PCTI English Teacher Eman Halimeh, PCTI English Teacher Rosybel Abreu, STEM Math teacher Rosalind Abreu, & SAC/ Crisis Counselor Juliana Arango Gil. Each answered questions from the student moderators, providing insights and the lessons they learned, and the skills they developed during their time at PCTI. The alumni panel not only showcased the potential career paths for students pursuing a degree in Child Development but also encouraged them to consider the broad range of opportunities that a PCTI education can provide.

The alumni panel is a testament to the strong community of PCTI graduates who have gone on to make a significant impact in their respective fields. The panelists shared their experiences of how PCTI provided them with the foundation and skills necessary to succeed in their careers. They emphasized the importance of hands-on learning opportunities and the supportive network of faculty and staff at PCTI in their personal and professional growth. The panelists encouraged current students to take advantage of all the resources and opportunities available to them at PCTI, and to develop a strong work ethic and dedication to their chosen field.

The Child Development Alumni Panel was an insightful and inspiring event that highlighted the value of a PCTVS education and the positive impact it can have on students' lives and careers.
